Good Morning!
At the end of the month I’m heading back to New Brunswick to spend some time at my cottage and to attend a friend’s wedding. I’m excited for some fun relaxing time with family and friends. I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to wear to the wedding. While browsing through the Urban Outfitters near my office I spotted the dress below which I am considering (I can picture the look of disgust on my mother’s face as she scrolls down). In real life, the colour is more of a neon shade. Yea, I know, I said it….neon. I was sure this trend would come and go and I wouldn’t buy in. But I am. WHAT can I say? Ok, I’ll say it. I’m a follower – I prefer the term “late-adopter” but let’s call a spade a spade. I’ll wait until I see something has become a bit more mainstream and then take part.
Let’s be clear, my new fondness for neon doesn’t mean I’m going to be rocking ensembles like this…..
But I am liking SOME neon in fashion and decor, within reason. I’m particularly fond of the limey-yellow neon shade. So I’ve rounded up some inspiration.

I think I might be a late adopter on this too. I recently bought a bright pink & green striped shirt. You can’t miss me when I’m wearing it!

I think the hard thing with neon is that we all actually DID look like that guy in picture 2 at one time in the early 90′s….but the dress you have pictured is gorgeous! Can NB handle it?
